STORY Hospitality, a hospitality management company under the Abu Dhabi Capital Group, has announced the appointment of Ameer Rehman as its new Vice President of Finance.

Ameer, a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) who qualified with PwC, brings over two decades of financial leadership across the international hospitality industry. His career has taken him through the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider EMEA region, where he has become known for his expertise in strategic financial governance, operational optimisation and high-performing team leadership.

Victor Abou-Ghanem, CEO of STORY Hospitality, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Ameer Rehman to STORY Hospitality. His deep financial acumen, global hospitality experience, and forward-looking leadership will bring tremendous value to our organisation as we advance our growth strategy and deliver exceptional results for our owners and partners.”

Prior to joining STORY Hospitality, Ameer held the role of Senior Vice President of Finance at COOL INC, reporting directly to the Group CEO. He led on capital structure planning, investment strategy, financial planning, and group-wide controls, making a significant contribution to the company’s overall financial stability and long-term performance.

Ameer also spent more than ten years with Hilton in senior regional finance positions across the Middle East and Africa. He was responsible for multiple territories, consistently outperforming profitability expectations, enhancing governance and compliance structures, and supporting the development of financial talent – including establishing Hilton’s first finance graduate programme in Saudi Arabia.

With a strong background in transforming large-scale hospitality portfolios, Ameer joins STORY Hospitality at a crucial stage in its expansion. His expertise will reinforce the group’s growing footprint in the UAE, Seychelles, Morocco and Saudi Arabia, promoting financial discipline, innovation and value generation for stakeholders.

STORY Hospitality continues to strengthen its leadership team as part of its accelerated development strategy across key regional markets, supported by an ongoing commitment to sustainability, digital innovation and a people-first culture.
