MoU creates new learning pathways and visibility opportunities for over 3,100 ICAI Dubai members

Tally Solutions, a leading provider of business management software in the UAE, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ICAI Dubai Chapter to advance digital adoption, continuous learning, and professional recognition for Chartered Accountants across the Emirates.

Representing more than 3,100 active members, the ICAI Dubai Chapter plays a vital role in supporting the region’s financial and SME ecosystem. Under the MoU, Tally Solutions will host six TallyPrime masterclasses throughout the year, offering participants practical experience in modern accounting and compliance technology. The initiative aims to help SMEs simplify processes, improve accuracy, and deliver enhanced value to their clients.

Commenting on the partnership, Vikas Panchal, General Manager, Tally Solutions MENA, said, “Our collaboration with the ICAI Dubai Chapter is a continuation of our efforts to build an ecosystem where individuals & SMEs are empowered to lead with knowledge and confidence in technology. The UAE’s tax landscape is evolving rapidly, and with our Digital Tax Integration Agreement with the Federal Tax Authority, we are uniquely positioned to support CAs in understanding compliance and guiding SMEs. This partnership reflects our shared vision of advancing professional excellence while strengthening the UAE’s business community.”

CA Jai Prakash Agarwal, Chairman of the ICAI Dubai Chapter, added, “Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of any economy, and if the economy wants to thrive and grow fast, the backbone needs to be strong, else the economy will cripple. Tally helps in keeping that backbone strong by keeping the product simple and the process easy. ICAI Dubai Chapter believes in this simplicity and ease, and therefore, the collaboration of Tally and ICAI Dubai has entered its tenth year, where, through education, knowledge, and training, we together keep elevating and empowering SMEs in the UAE.”

The partnership builds on more than a decade of collaboration between Tally and the ICAI Dubai Chapter and arrives at a pivotal time for the UAE’s evolving tax environment, with major developments including Corporate Tax introduction, VAT e-filing, and the forthcoming e-invoicing requirements. By blending education with practical tools, the alliance ensures finance professionals remain well-prepared for regulatory and technological changes.

In addition to training, practising Chartered Accountants will benefit from access to Bosses of Bookkeeping (BoB) and Tally’s extensive community of over 70,000 UAE businesses. This platform allows professionals to showcase their expertise and improve visibility among SMEs seeking trusted advisors.

Tally experts will maintain a presence at ICAI Dubai Chapter events throughout the year to offer ongoing guidance, product insights, and peer support.

For ICAI members, the MoU represents a strengthened platform to enhance skills and deliver greater value to their clients, while for Tally Solutions, it further builds trust and partnership with the CA community, which continues to drive SME growth and compliance in the region.
