  • Partnership with Al-Qadsiah Women’s Football Club marks ASMO’s entry into professional sport
  • Sponsorship highlights ASMO’s commitment to opportunity, inclusion, and community development

ASMO, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco Development Company and DHL, has announced its sponsorship of the Al-Qadsiah Women’s Football Club following a signing ceremony held at the club’s headquarters in Khobar. The partnership represents ASMO’s first step into the world of professional sport, reflecting its ambition to create a wider social impact beyond the supply chain, with a focus on sport, community empowerment, and inclusion.

Established to transform procurement and supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia, ASMO delivers integrated, end-to-end solutions that go beyond conventional models. Through this sponsorship, ASMO extends its mission beyond business, aligning with Al-Qadsiah’s vision of opening new opportunities for women and inspiring future generations through football.

Craig Roberts, CEO of ASMO, said:
“At the heart of this partnership are shared values: teamwork, resilience, integrity, and inclusion. These are principles that define both ASMO and Al-Qadsiah. Just as we believe success is forged one link at a time in redefining procurement and the supply chain, Al-Qadsiah demonstrates the same spirit of unity and determination on the field. By supporting this remarkable team, we are creating pathways for ambition, empowering women to lead, and inspiring young people to see that their goals are within reach.”

The partnership will feature prominently throughout the Saudi Women’s Premier League season, showcasing ASMO’s brand while also sharing powerful stories of ambition, resilience, and inclusion. Beyond matchdays, ASMO will strengthen its engagement through employee initiatives, partner collaborations, and community outreach under its “Access to Sports” programme — a key element of the company’s broader “Access for All” corporate social responsibility framework. This approach highlights ASMO’s belief in connecting business success with social progress.

James Bisgrove, CEO of Al-Qadsiah Club, said:
“Partnering with ASMO is a milestone moment for Al-Qadsiah, especially our women’s team. We’re proud to be one of the leading clubs in the Kingdom, attracting major partners across all sports. With ASMO behind us, our Women’s players have a stronger stage to reach their goals — and, importantly, we’re inspiring the next generation of girls in our Academies to play football with passion and confidence.”

This collaboration reflects ASMO’s dedication to combining business leadership with positive social impact. By supporting Al-Qadsiah at a defining moment for women’s football in Saudi Arabia, the company reinforces its vision of driving growth, fostering ambition, and breaking down barriers, contributing to a shared future of opportunity and progress.
