Moscow Joins KBLT Congress 2025 as Destination Partner Following 470% Surge in Saudi Arrivals

QnA International has announced the Moscow City Tourism Committee as a Destination Partner for the upcoming 4th Annual Kingdom Business & Luxury Travel (KBLT) Congress, taking place on 15–16 September 2025 in Riyadh.

Recognised as the Kingdom’s premier invitation-only platform, the KBLT Congress connects high-profile Saudi buyers with global destinations, luxury hotels, DMCs, and leading travel partners. Over the course of two days, the event offers exclusive business meetings, strategic discussions, and networking opportunities, driving new partnerships within Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving outbound luxury travel sector.

Moscow enters the spotlight at this year’s congress following its impressive growth in Saudi visitor numbers. In 2024, the Russian capital welcomed over 52,000 visitors from the Kingdom — a 5.7-fold increase compared to 2023. Furthermore, Saudi nationals became the second-largest recipients of Russia’s e-visas since their launch in August 2023, underscoring the city’s growing role as a strategic travel destination.

To meet the rising demand, Moscow is enhancing its tourism infrastructure to better serve Saudi travellers. From curated cultural experiences like “Summer in Moscow” and “Winter in Moscow”, to a growing network of halal-friendly hotels, restaurants, and prayer facilities, the city is ensuring greater accessibility and cultural alignment. Beyond leisure, Moscow is also strengthening its business tourism portfolio with landmark developments, including the VDNH Expo complex, set to become Russia’s largest exhibition and conference centre.

Maya Anurova, Head of Business Tourism Development Department, Moscow City Tourism Committee, said:

“Moscow is ready to welcome more Saudi visitors than ever before. We offer a destination where rich heritage meets modern comfort, where luxury and authenticity coexist, and where every traveller — whether on business or leisure — can find a tailored experience. The remarkable growth in Saudi arrivals in 2024 proves that our efforts are working, and we are committed to strengthening these ties even further.”

As a Destination Partner, Moscow aims to leverage its presence at KBLT Congress 2025 to showcase its unique offerings, engage with key Saudi travel decision-makers, and reinforce its position as a leading leisure and business hub for the Kingdom’s luxury travel market.

Sidh NC, Director of QnA International, added:

“We are thrilled to welcome Moscow as a Destination Partner at KBLT 2025. The city’s remarkable growth in attracting Saudi travellers reflects the exciting opportunities that exist in this market. As the Kingdom’s outbound travel sector continues to expand, KBLT serves as the essential bridge between Saudi buyers and leading global destinations, and Moscow’s participation adds immense value to this dialogue.”
