  • Two towers linked by a dramatic bridge, a landmark design element that embodies unity, balance, and community spirit
  • Ras Al Khaimah secures AED 700 million in foreign direct investment in the first half of 2025, with its population forecast to grow by 60% by 2030, creating demand for 45,000 additional homes

Ellington Properties, Dubai’s leading developer known for its design-led approach, has announced the launch of Soto Grande, a new residential project set within Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah. The development signals the company’s expansion into the northern emirates and underlines its ambition to create lifestyle communities defined by innovative design, architecture, and curated living experiences.

The launch coincides with Ras Al Khaimah’s transformation into one of the UAE’s most dynamic real estate markets. In the first half of 2025, the emirate attracted AED 700 million in foreign direct investment, while its population, currently around 400,000, is projected to rise to 650,000 by 2030. This growth is expected to fuel demand for approximately 45,000 new homes, highlighting the need for high-quality residential communities designed around lifestyle and identity.

Soto Grande introduces a blend of living options, ranging from well-planned studios to spacious four-bedroom apartments and penthouses. The development’s architectural centrepiece consists of two residential volumes linked by a bridge that draws inspiration from the sea and natural forms. The bridge serves as a striking statement of design, representing unity and belonging, while offering elevated views over the lagoon, the golf course, the city, and the Arabian Gulf.

Joseph Thomas, Co-Founder of Ellington Properties, said, “With Soto Grande, we wanted to rethink what it means to live in Ras Al Khaimah at a time when the emirate is entering a new phase of growth. For us, architecture is never just about aesthetics; it is about creating a sense of place and identity that people feel proud to call home. The bridge is symbolic of that idea as it is a bold design feature that also represents balance, connection, and belonging. Through this development, we are adding a new chapter to Al Hamra while providing residents a refined living experience rooted in design, community, and the spirit of Ras Al Khaimah.”

The community will feature an extensive range of amenities designed to enhance daily living. Residents will enter through a hotel-style lobby and lounge with concierge services, while a private clubhouse will act as a focal point for dining, entertainment, and social interaction. Wellness facilities will include a double-height fitness suite overlooking the pool, a yoga studio with a refreshment bar, and spa-inspired changing rooms complete with sauna and chromatherapy showers. Outdoor leisure spaces will feature landscaped play zones, a padel court, swimming pools for laps and relaxation, and an outdoor gym. Families will also enjoy dedicated children’s play facilities, while art installations and Ellington’s signature hospitality fragrance will add a distinctive touch to shared areas.

Located strategically within Al Hamra, Soto Grande sets a new standard for contemporary living in Ras Al Khaimah. Through its bold architecture, refined amenities, and Ellington’s dedication to design-first communities, the project promises to reshape the residential landscape of the emirate with a forward-looking vision for urban living.
