42 Turkish restaurants and 54 outlets offer special experiences for food lovers

The “Turkish Food Week in Dubai” was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai in collaboration with the Turkish Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is part of the “Turkish Food Week” celebrations in Turkey and abroad.

The 7-day event will start on May 21-27 and will provide the opportunity to sample different culinary offerings across the Emirate. Famous Turkish dishes that are part of defining Turkish cultural identity will be promoted throughout the week by the restaurants participating in this first-ever event.

With more than 42 Turkish restaurants and 54 outlets, food lovers and restaurants in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates will enjoy a specialty dining experience. Turkish cuisine

Turkish cuisine is nurtured and shaped by the well-established history of Anatolia, distinguished by its healthy properties, creative feature and consistent textures. Due to the influence of thousands of years of history and the Seljuk and Ottoman palaces, the flavors of Turkish cuisine have a great cultural accumulation to this day. Foods and dishes that use every ingredient of the product without wasting, express the taste tradition of maintaining environmental sustainability. Turkish cuisine offers vegetarians and vegans endless options with healthy pickles and vinegar, and is a universal food with the flexibility to adapt to all diet trends.

Turkish cuisine presents the world with its legendary flavors, each reflecting centuries of ancient knowledge and cultural heritage. During Turkish Food Week, world-renowned chefs from Turkey will be presenting creative food presentations to visitors at their own geographical locations, with loving hospitality from various countries. Meanwhile, menus specially prepared for Turkish Food Week in Turkey invite Turkish and foreign guests to try the best Turkish cuisine in restaurants.

Turkish food and its timeless cuisine

Turkish cuisine and its timeless cuisine (Asırlık Tariflerle Türk Mutfağı) is a book on gastronomy published under the auspices of First Lady Emin Erdogan and under the auspices of the President, in collaboration with the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Organization (TGA). Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Aimed at enhancing the richness of Turkish cuisine to a global audience through the contributions of leading chefs, academics and experts, Turkish cuisine and its timeless cookbook draw attention to popular Turkish cuisine and its rational, ecological and sustainable properties.
It discusses the healthy storage and cooking techniques used in Turkish gastronomy and records centuries-old traditional recipes in their original form, aimed at passing them on to future generations.

Published in Turkish and English, the book offers two hundred and eighteen recipes for healthy and alternative foods, including rational, fermented, regional, local and gluten-free foods.
This book was the inspiration for the Turkish Food Week event.
