Laguna Waterpark’s Caribbean Fest is back with five new dates announced alongside news that the venue’s rooftop bar is now licensed.
**pirate smile intensifies**
You’ll find Laguna Waterpark in the trendy Jumeirah beach district of La Mer. Since opening last year, it has established itself as possibly the best value waterpark in the emirate, with tickets starting at AED 125.
Laguna held their first Caribbean Fest on 10th August earlier this summer, and it proved more than just an ‘irie ting.’ Which is why they’ve brought it back for some totally tropical reoccurring revelry. The important dates are 13th and 20th September and the 4th, 11th and 18th of October.
Just like last time, the entry fee for the event is a deliciously limbo-like AED 99, which gets you access to the park from 5pm-midnight. That’s free range over the complex’s usual attractions like the thrill rides and lazy river. And then there’s the soiree’s special entertainment – rhythmic beats, live drummers, DJ and an aqua Afro Fit dance class led by Gbemi Giwa.
After an appropriate measure of aquatic skanking and water winin’, at 8pm it’s time for the after party at the newly licensed rooftop balcony bars. Expect exceptionally electric atmosphere, breezy Gulf views and special beverage packages.
Caribbean Fest part II, it’s a remix ting.
