Did you know? As well as being the in place to go out for brunch, Stella Di Mare Dubai Marina also has one of the youngest female hoteliers in the region.
Vice president Althea Ayoub was born in Italy in 1990. Of Italian and Egyptian descent, Ayoub spent her high school career in Egypt before moving to London to continue her education. As well as a Master’s Degree in Child Development, she also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management.
Ayoub has more than 11 years of experience in hospitality and has held various positions at the hotel group since joining Stella Di Mare in Ain Soukna, Egypt, as a duty manager in 2006.
As well as speaking English, Italian, Spanish and Arabic, Ayoub is also a keen volunteer, working at an after school art creche in Egypt and orphanages in Egypt and Kenya.
She said: “It is an honour to be part of Stella Di Mare Dubai Marina Hotel and to bring the brand to the UAE market. I strive for excellence and challenge myself to achieve growth and the highest quality results. I look forward to building and maximizing the hotel’s standards and performance in all departments.”
There’s no doubt that the hotel has maxed out excellence at its brunches.

Friday afternoons are made for family-friendly brunching and the hotel’s La Fontana Restaurant has a weekend spread that’s ideal for all ages.
The Flames & Fizz Brunch (pictured above) combines everything we love to pile on our plate – from a South American-style churrasco and live barbecue serving grilled meats and chefs preparing the freshest Asian food, including a sushi buffet, as well as Italian treats.
Take a spin round the live food stations, where there’s spit roast lamb, hearty paella and vegetables, salads and a generous choice of deserts. Fresh juices, hand-crafted beverages and bubbles keep the party spirits high all afternoon, as will live entertainment from the resident band.
Kids get their own hangout where they can watch cartoons, dance to the music and help themselves to a special buffet complete with popcorn, marshmallow and chocolate fountain.
Packages start from AED 249 for soft beverages, AED 349 for bubbly and AED 550 premium. Kids aged five-12 go half price and children under five eat for free. Wait, there’s more. Everyone gets 20 per cent off the hotel’s late brunch party at Skyland.
