Would you pay to stay in a ‘haunted’ hotel for Halloween?

Halloween deals, Lapita, spooky staycatio

Scary characters roam the corridors and there are some hair-raising scares hidden in your room.

Lapita hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts is holding a spooky sleepover for Halloween. Guys and ghouls, get ready to tell ghost stories, huddle under the covers and stay up frightfully late.

The fiendish family staycation will see part of the Lapita complex converted into a scare-arific haunted hotel. Guests can stay on one of two floors that have swapped out from the hotel’s usual tribal decor to Halloween paraphernalia from the nearby Hotel Transylvania and Legoland Dubai attractions.

Organisers says there’ll be “staff members dressed in scary costumes roaming the corridors, staying in character throughout the experience to amplify the creepy atmosphere.” Rooms at the Polynesian island-inspired family resort are going to have “hair-raising in-room amenities” but they’re not set to re-create The Shining – this is something for whole family.

The Halloween package also includes breakfast in your room and a day pass to Dubai’s Parks and Resorts three theme parks and one water park, so you can scare yourself silly on the rollercoasters.

Halloween itself falls on 31st October, but this offer is available for two weeks.

You can book in from 18th October – 2nd November 2018. Prices start from AED 1,189 for two people, which includes in-room breakfast and access to Bollywood, Motiongate, Legoland and Legoland Waterpark. To book, call 04 449 0868 and quote Haunted Quarters.
