Pancake Day is the real deal getting us through February. Whether you enjoy them sweet or savoury, pancakes are the best food and here’s where you can get stuck into some in Dubai.

Classic sugar and lemon is the pancake topping many of us grew up with and trip down memory lane comes courtesy of Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen at Atlantis. Today (13th February) the British eatery will offer dinners this, red velvet and toffee toppings, stacked up in a much more appealing fashion than we remember from our childhood.

Clinton-Chocolate Chunks & Fresh Raspberry Pancakes

Try founder Chef Neil Kleinberg’s famous pancake batter recipe in a smorgasbord of flavours throughout February at the beloved New York City bakery. Chocolate chunks and fresh raspberries rule on the 13th and 14th February then black berries and lemon curd take over on 15th and 16th. They deliver too.

Clean eaters and the calorie shy don’t have to miss out on their Pancake Day treat. Paleo-friendly café Gourmet is serving up sweet potato pancakes from 8am. Devour a stack of the gluten-free treats in the knowledge they contain virtuous amounts of sweet potato mash, coconut flour, oats, almond milk, egg whites, vegan organic protein, organic honey and vanilla bean, and clock in at just over 250 calories.
