A walk by Dubai Water Canal

If you haven’t already visited Dubai Water Canal, then it’s a good time to stop by and take some snaps.

A short walk from Business Bay Metro, (or there is parking underneath the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge) the recently opened canal has artistic bridges, a colourful waterfall and an extremely serene vibe.

Yoga by The Beach, JBR

Attend some fun and free yoga sessions before the sun makes it impossible to even stand out for more than five minutes.

Whether you regularly practice yoga or are a first-timer, head over to the South Lawns every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to stretch, bend and relax. Arrive 30 minutes early to book your spot and don’t forget to bring a mat and plenty of water.

BBQ at Creek Park, Umm Hurair 

bbq at the creek park dubaiWe are blessed to have so many green, clean parks in every corner of Dubai. Right by the undulating Dubai Creek, Creek Park is one of our favourites.

Now is the best time to do some BBQ-ing and playing outdoor sports with friends and family. Don’t miss out on this chance, because there can be no park time once the temperature hits 40 degrees.

You’ll need to bring your own food to barbeque at spots around the 96-hectare park, plus there are cafes and food stalls for snacking at.

Dubai Garden Glow, Zabeel Park 

glow garden dubai Inspired by wonders across the globe, this beautiful setup at Zabeel Park and must be visited at least once before summer arrives to see its bright lights and creative concepts.

Bigger than last year, it’s now filled with realistic dinosaurs, live entertainment and a host of food trucks, all until 30th April.

Last Exit, Sheikh Zayed Road

the-last-exit food newsFood trucks galore recently opened on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway. From a hot dog stand, to gourmet urban seafood to a mini mart, the Last Exit is a food lovers’ delight.

Although they are drive through and there’s indoor seating, plan a trip now and treat yourself before it gets seriously sticky.

Movies under the stars, Wafi Mall 

movies under the starsCalling all film buffs! Come and watch a movie under the stars at the Pyramids Rooftop Gardens, Wafi. There are bean bags to relax on while movies are shown on a giant screen.

The entry is free and they screen a different film every Sunday evening.
