Dubai Health Authority has collaborated with 10 private sector facilities that were eager to join in and provide free treatment to those who cannot afford it. What’s even better is that the number is likely to increase to an estimated 26 health facilities.

Other health services will be also be offered to those with limited means at reasonable rates at participating medical centres.

Of course, there will be criteria that must be fulfilled by patients to make them eligible to receive free treatment, details of which have not been released yet.

The initiative is part of the UAE’s ‘Year of Giving’, which was declared for 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

As soon as we here more information on participating hospitals and criteria and regulations, we will let you know.
