One year on, all you need to know about the Dubai Frame

Dubai Frame

Can you believe it’s been a whole year since Dubai Frame officially opened?

The 150-metre high lofty addition to Dubai’s skyline has attracted a million visitors since January 2018. Costing AED 160 million, the sleek gold-coloured stainless steel building in Zabeel Park has a 93-metre observation bridge where you can drink in the breathtaking cityscape of new and old Dubai.

As well as spectacular views, the Dubai Frame includes an interactive exhibition that tells the story of Dubai past and present.

Once you’re back on the ground, take an amble round Zabeel Park without shelling out to get in, because Frame visitors skip the AED 5 entry charge (make sure to hang on to your tickets).

Do you need any more reasons to go?

Dawoud Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality, says: “The Dubai Frame comes from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to establish Dubai as an international cultural, entertainment and tourism destination.”

Dubai Frame. Buy tickets from Gate 4 Zabeel Park or online here. Tickets ARE AED 50 for adults and AED 20 for children (with free entry for under threes and people of determination). 9am-9pm daily.
